
If you’ve ever considered going abroad to complete your field work for a Bachelor’s of Social Work (BSW) degree, consider the experiences of recent Southern Miss graduate Cooper Robinson.
Robinson spent 3 1/2 months in Ghana last fall to meet her field work requirements for the School of Social Work.
Her initial moments of panic at learning she would teach English to about 50 children at a rehabilitation center turned into a rewarding experience of “hugs, high-fives and handshakes” as she grew close to her students.
