Apply by March 31 for Two $2,500 Scholarships

Scholarship applications are open through March 31 for social work students with roots in south Mississippi.

The Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s Lawrence & Lucimarian Roberts Helpline Scholarship Fund will award two scholarships of $2,500 each to undergraduate or graduate students who meet all the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled or plan to be enrolled next school year in a public or private Mississippi college or university
  • Minimum 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
  • Currently majoring or plan to major in social work, psychology, counseling or another behavioral health science field
  • Family residency in Hancock, Harrison, Jackson or Pearl River counties.
