‘How Cultural Acceptance Positively Impacts Social Work Practice’

April L. Estill, LCSW, will be the featured speaker on the subject of Cultural Tolerance vs. Cultural Acceptance at the MS NASW Pine Belt/Bogue Chitto Branch meeting April 19.

The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at Fritzsche-Gibbs Hall (map), Room 112, on the Hattiesburg campus of Southern Miss.

Estill, an adjunct instructor at the School of Social Work and the assistant director of the University’s Student Counseling Services, will give a presentation titled “How Cultural Acceptance Positively Impacts Social Work Practice.”

NASW members can attend for free; cost is $10 for non-members. The session will count as 1.5 Continuing Education (CE) Units.
