It seems that not everyone is desperate for the economy to “reopen” – at least not if it’s at the expense of their health, and possibly their lives.
Drawing far too little coverage from the mainstream media, with the exception of a few high-profile targets such as Amazon, is the wave of labor strikes – many of them “wildcat,” without the leadership of a formal labor organization – occurring since the Covid-19 pandemic struck and took center stage of national and global consciousness.
Fortunately, there’s one good source for this information – Paydayreport.com – which continuously updates its “Strike Tracker” as hears of labor action. Since March, the Strike Tracker shows 190 strikes, providing at least a bit of information about each.
